Alternative zu schwarzem Kaffee - welche anderen Getränke geben uns Energie?

Espresso, latte, cappuccino, mocha, macchiato, black, with milk... coffee. When we wake up every morning trying to recharge our batteries for the day, especially when it's still dark or cold outside, most of us instinctively reach for coffee. Dark, thick, aromatic. It's said that over 70% of Poles start their day with coffee and, when they feel a drop in energy during the day, reach for another cup. And as you know, not everything in excess necessarily has a positive effect on our bodies. Too much coffee can irritate the stomach and is addictive. Moreover, its effects are short-lived – at first, we feel a burst of energy, but this feeling quickly fades, causing us to reach for another serving. Leading a healthy life doesn't mean giving up your favorite beverage. However, it's worth replacing one of your cups of coffee with another drink that gives us energy. Here are some coffee substitutes that will help you forget about fatigue.

tea

Traditional black tea, thanks to its theine content, has a similar effect to coffee; it stimulates, improves memory and concentration, and at the same time, thanks to its regulation of digestive juices, it has a soothing and disinfectant effect on the stomach. It's worth drinking leaf tea, not tea bags, which usually contain the least valuable components of tea.

green tea

Green tea also contains theine. It acts more slowly than the caffeine found in coffee, but it effectively combats drowsiness and improves concentration. In addition, almost everyone has heard of the health-promoting properties of green tea – it detoxifies, helps strengthen blood vessels, and has a positive effect on metabolism.

Yerba Mate

The Paraguayan holly infusion, also known as the popular yerba mate, is known for its powerful stimulating properties – it affects both the mind and the entire body. It contains more caffeine than coffee and, at the same time, contains many valuable nutrients: B vitamins, vitamins C and E, as well as iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, and zinc – the very substances that coffee normally flushes out of our bodies.

Matcha Latte

A traditional Japanese tea with added plant or animal milk. It helps improve mental function and stimulate the body. Like other beverages, it also contains caffeine and many nutrients, including vitamins A and C, iron, potassium, and calcium. It also has antiviral and antibacterial properties. Its flavor is definitely more delicate than, for example, yerba mate.

Ginger root

All of the drinks listed above contain caffeine or theine. However, if you want to avoid them, there's a drink that has stimulating properties but doesn't contain a drop of caffeine. Sliced ginger root, poured over boiling water with added honey and lemon, not only tastes delicious but also has beneficial effects on our body. It improves blood circulation, including in the brain, thereby improving its function and thus improving concentration and focus, warming, and energizing. Ginger drinks are especially worthwhile in autumn and winter.

As you can see, there are several alternatives to the little black dress. You don't have to completely forgo your favorite aromatic coffee. For example, simply replace your second or third cup of coffee with a matcha latte. Take a 20-minute walk during the day to recharge your batteries and refresh your mind.
