Lugol's solution is a preparation with disinfectant properties, used in the treatment of thyroid diseases. Depending on the dosage, it stimulates or inhibits the function of this gland. Diluted (a few drops in 100 ml of water), it can be used as an antiseptic for gargling.

PROPERTIES:

• Supports thyroid function by helping to produce the hormones T3 and T4.
• Regulates cellular metabolism and supports the maintenance of a normal body weight.
• Essential for the nervous system and the function of the sex glands, adrenal glands, pituitary gland, thymus, pancreas, and stomach.

COMPOSITION:
Deionized water, potassium iodide, crystalline iodine.
The preparation contains no alcohol, glycerin, or other organic substances.

DOSAGE:
One drop contains about 12 mg of active iodine.
