Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring compound in the body, with up to half of it located in the dermis and intercellular space. Its main function is to bind water. About 30 percent of the substance is broken down in the body and replaced by new hyaluronic acid molecules. As we age, the amount of new particles steadily decreases, and the tissue where it resides becomes weaker. The effects are most visible on the skin, which becomes saggy, loose, less firm, and less elastic. MyVita 5% Hyaluronic Acid is a three-part serum for application on the skin. It contains 3 types of acids with different molecular weights. Thanks to this property, it works better on the skin's surface as well as in the deeper layers of the skin. Additionally, the serum enhances the absorption of other active ingredients into the skin's sponges.
