PREPARATION
1 small, flat teaspoon of tea (approx. 2.5 g) with 250 ml of hot, but not boiling water (approx. 70-80 degrees C), mix with quick movements until the powder dissolves and foam appears.
To prepare matcha traditionally, use a bamboo spoon to pour a portion of tea into a warmed bowl, add hot (but not boiling) water, and then whisk it with a special bamboo whisk. This final step gives the drink a smooth, silky texture.
