Peanuts, now known in all parts of the world, probably originated in South America. From there they reached Africa and then came to Europe. They are undemanding to grow and grow well in conditions where other plants have trouble germinating. The United States is currently the tycoon in peanut production. They are also grown extensively in China, India and Africa. Peanuts are not actually nuts but seeds of the Fabaceae plant. So you can risk saying that there are more beans than walnuts. How do peanuts grow? Underground Orzacha resembles a shamrock. It grows very quickly and the first harvest of nuts is possible already 2 months after sowing. As the flowers wilt, their stalks turn into pods and grow downward. Nuts unfold shallowly underground, at a depth of about 2 centimeters. A plant can produce up to 40 peanuts. The looser the soil, the more fruit there is.
Is it worth eating peanuts if they're not nuts? It is a valuable snack that is perfectly acceptable to include in the diet, including reduction. While they are quite high in calories, as 100 grams of peanuts provide our body with around 600 calories, they are not empty calories. Peanuts contain many unsaturated fatty acids (especially oleic acid) that are valuable for health. They can positively affect the work of the heart, the right blood sugar level and blood pressure. They contain many valuable vitamins, including vitamin E, which is responsible for the regeneration of skin cells and has an antioxidant effect. Peanuts are also a treasury of many minerals necessary for the proper functioning of the body. These include zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and calcium.
