- Source of vitamins and minerals
- can support the immune system
- recommended for soups, sauces and dumplings
Shiitake (Lentinula edodes (Berk.) Pegler), also known as curd or Japanese sclerophyllous, are edible mushrooms belonging to the Omphalotaceae family of mushrooms order. These distant relatives of mushrooms, originating from the Far East, are called the "elixir of life" in Japan due to their beneficial effects on the human body Lentinan compound, which strengthens the immune system. Edible cottage cheese is also a source of valuable B vitamins and minerals - manganese, zinc, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium - as well as fiber and vitamin D.
Adding shiitake mushrooms is a great way to enrich the flavor of a dish and add its unique aroma. They are perfect as an addition to soups, sauces or as an ingredient for dumpling fillings.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store the goods refrigerated.
We pack our products with a special film that allows for living, breathing vegetables. It's a sheet that directs carbon dioxide and water produced by the respiration of live vegetables and fruits to one side. As a result, no water condenses on the film and the packaged vegetables and fruit have a longer shelf life. Store the goods in refrigerated conditions.
