ProbioBalance by Aliness® Bifidobacterium Balance contains a mixture of five strains of the Bifidobacterium family.

The patented microencapsulation technology is a double lipid layer that surrounds the cell. Such a revolutionary solution guarantees almost 100% survival of bacteria passing through the digestive system. Microencapsulated bacteria are many times stronger than lyophilisates, so 5 times fewer bacteria are sufficient to achieve the same degree of colonization.
Probiotic bacteria are very sensitive to the aquatic environment. Manufacturers often use different types of fiber or inulin as the filling. Their environment is unfavorable for the bacteria since their water activity is above < 0.2. In the case of probiotics, the water activity of the carrier is of enormous importance. It is the carrier that is in closest contact with the bacteria at all times. If the water activity is above aw > 0.2, the enzymes contained in the bacteria start to activate, resulting in their loss.
