DESCRIPTION

Kaneka's Japanese Ubiquinol is a reduced form of Coenzyme Q10. More than 90% of all Q10 stored in the human body is in the form of ubiquinol. It is a biologically active form - it requires no conversions in the body (unlike ubiquinone, which the body must convert (reduce) to ubiquinol) and is fully assimilated by the body. In addition, ubiquinol causes a stronger and faster increase in the level of coenzyme Q10 than ubiquinone. Kaneka's product is made using the natural yeast fermentation process. Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like compound that is produced in the body to ensure proper functioning of the mitochondria, where energy is produced. Coenzyme Q10 takes an active part in the process of energy production, which is necessary for the proper course of phosphorylation from ADP to ATP (phosphorylation is the process of ATP formation).
