Why VitaMK7® another
prefer brand?

VitaMK7® is NATURALLY patented in the course of a
of the biofermentation process of Bacillus subtilis ssp natto bacterial cultures used among others in a traditional Japanese dish - natto. The product contains over 99% ALL-TRANS MENACHINONE 7 and the purity of the substance determined by HPLC is over 99%. CONTAINS NO BACTERIAL RESIDUE, NO ADDED CALCIUM, SYNTHETIC CRYSTALS OR OTHERWISE REQUIRED.

Is VitaMK7® free of allergens and genetically modified organisms (GMO)?
Yes. Soybean peptone and minerals are used as the medium. Soy protein contamination was tested on the raw material used to manufacture VitaMK7® and NO SOY PROTEIN was DETECTED. We can therefore declare that VitaMK7® is a GMO, SOY, GLUTEN and LACTOSE FREE product.

Is VitaMK7® a synthetic product or made with
chemicals or solvents?

no The VitaMK7® manufacturing process has been patented in Europe, the USA and Japan. It uses NO CHEMICALS, SOLVENTS, ADDITIVES, PRESERVATIVES OR SYNTHETIC PROCESSES.

Is VitaMK7® for use in food and dietary supplements in the
European Union approved?

Yes. Vitamin K2 as MK-7 has been approved in the EU as a novel food and is listed in Annex II of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1170/2009 of November 30, 2009 as a form of vitamin K that is > used in food and Dietary supplements can be used.

Is VitaMK7® backed by health claims?
Yes. VitaMK7® is supported by approved according to Art. 13 (1) Findings of the European Court of Justice (EFSA) Food Safety Information on Bone Health: Contributes to the maintenance of normal bone health.

Yes. VitaMK7® was created by Gnosis
validated in toxicological, preclinical and 3 clinical studies.

Is VitaMK7® Kosher Certified?
Yes.
VitaMK7® is KOF-K certified.

Are drug interactions possible with VitaMK7®?
Some oral anticoagulants (DAK) act as vitamin K antagonists, including coumarin derivatives (such as warfarin, phenprocoumon, and acenocoumarol) and counteract the activity of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors, thereby reducing blood clotting. They inhibit the recycling of vitamin K, break down the stored vitamin K and thus reduce the activity of coagulation proteins. Based on current data, with the recommended daily dose of 45 g of vitamin K2 MK-7, the likelihood of interaction with oral anticoagulants is negligible. However, because clinical trials are ongoing and patients being treated with oral anticoagulants are being closely monitored, it is important to consult a healthcare practitioner before taking vitamin K2 supplements.

What is the difference between Vitamin K2 MK-4 and Vitamin K2
MK-7?

Vitamin K2 has several subtypes, commonly referred to as
menaquinone-n (MK-n), where "N" stands for the number of isoprene groups. Most studies involve MK-4 (menaquinone-4 or menatetrenone, MK4) and MK-7 (menaquinone-7).
Synthetic MK-4 is mostly used for pharmaceutical purposes (high dose: 45 mg/day). Vitamin K2 MK-4 has lower bioavailability than MK-7, bioactivity and serum half-life. Vitamin K2 in the form of menaquinone-7 (MK-7) is the form of vitamin K with the highest bioavailability and bioactivity. The high biological activity of MK-7 (where "7" stands for chain length) is mainly due to its much longer half-life in the blood, making it the most important form of vitamin K outside the liver.

What is the difference between vitamin K1 and vitamin K2?
Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and vitamin K2 (menaquinone) are the two main forms of vitamin K found in food. Vitamin K1 is found in green leafy vegetables (spinach, broccoli, etc.).
Vitamin K1 plays a role in blood clotting.
Vitamin K2 is found in high concentrations in natto foods - a traditional Japanese dish made from fermented soybeans. It is also found in low concentrations in fermented cheese. Vitamin K2 is initially transported to the liver, but also reaches tissues outside the liver, including bones and walls and arteries, where it can accumulate due to its high bioavailability and longer half-life, and plays an important role in building and maintaining strong bones, preventing accumulation of calcium deposits in the arteries.
