Biomus chemical reagents are specific mixtures of chemical compounds prepared for their intended use in laboratory work. Chemical reagents are used in research and measurement work, in processing, as well as in the small-scale production of other substances. They are characterized by an appropriate method of packaging, a specified shelf life, and their packaging and storage methods are adapted to ensure the degree of consistency of chemical composition required in the particular applications.

DMSO dimethyl sulfoxide and other reagents

The offer of the Biogo store includes, among others, dimethyl sulfoxide, an organic chemical compound that belongs to the group of sulfoxides. It is used as a chemical reagent and solvent. Most often it is used in the form of a liquid water solution with a concentration of 70-90% or in gels of various concentrations. The product should be stored in a dry, dark and cool place and only used as intended. Keep away from children.

The Biogo store also offers baking soda, a reagent that has a wide range of uses. Soda is used, among other things, in the cosmetics industry to make toners and masks for problematic and seborrheic skin, to regulate the pH of cosmetic products, as an aid in removing blackheads and to brighten the skin, and as an ingredient in body scrubs. Baking soda is added to jewelry cleaners, denture cleaners, carpet washing powders, and kettle descalers.

Multi-Purpose Paraffin

Another interesting product is paraffin oil, that is, liquid paraffin used in the cosmetics industry and as a fuel. Thanks to its emollient and smoothing properties, it is used as an ingredient in various body creams and lotions. It is also used in the manufacture of lamps, torches and candles. In addition, it is a product that can be used as a firelighter for fireplaces and barbecues. Paraffin is a special product with increased purity. It should be stored in a dry, dark and cool place at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius, in the original tightly sealed packaging.

L-ascorbic acid, i.e. pure vitamin C

Like other chemical reagents, L-ascorbic acid is a preparation for professional use only. It can be used to clean swimming pools and household utility areas. It is also suitable as an ingredient in cosmetics. Pure vitamin C plays an important role in the functioning of living organisms. It is necessary due to its properties, which include: strengthening immunity, accelerating wound healing and helping to prevent tooth decay.

Precautions

Be extremely careful when using chemical reagents. When working with a chemical reagent, it is not recommended to eat, drink, smoke or use stimulants. Untrained persons should not have contact with chemical reagents. Persons who are just beginning to work with these compounds are particularly at risk of an accident involving chemical reagents and should therefore use the preparations as intended. It should be remembered that all reagents have a specific harmful effect on health and absolute safety conditions should be observed when used for research and analytical purposes. They are not to be sighed, rubbed, or eaten.
