L'olio di girasole crudo e spremuto a freddo viene estratto da semi di girasole selezionati con cura e controllati, non tostati.
Si distingue per l'aroma e il sapore aromatico, tipici dei semi di girasole, oltre che per il colore giallo. Grazie al processo di spremitura a "freddo", gli acidi grassi e la vitamina E contenuti in questo olio rimangono inalterati. Questo olio è un prodotto naturale, caratterizzato da un alto contenuto di grassi insaturi.
Parti successive dell'olio possono variare leggermente tra loro: colore, odore e sapore. Queste sono caratteristiche che non influenzano la composizione dell'olio. Sotto l'influenza di basse temperature, le cere naturali possono separarsi dall'olio. È un fenomeno naturale che dipende dalla temperatura ed è completamente reversibile.
